Is your child struggling in school? Does a particular subject regularly result in tears and frustration? An educational assessment is a great way to learn about strengths, challenges, and how your child learns best. Educational assessments also reveal if your child has a learning disability, Autism, or ADHD and may qualify for accommodations and/or additional services at school and during assessments such as the SAT or GRE.
Navigating the social complexities of school is challenging for all children. Students who have anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and other learning differences may struggle even more to make and keep friends. Often they are unaware of why friendships are challenging for them. Through the use of research based social skills curriculum, such as the UCLA PEERS program, and SocialThinking, students learn strategies that lead to social success. Groups for middle school students are now forming!
